Welcome to the Traditional Catholic Faith blog.
I am a Catholic author, researcher and historian. I created this blog to share information and resources on the one, holy, apostolic, Catholic Church as handed to us from Our Lord, Jesus Christ, and defended by our Popes from St. Peter through Pope Francis.
This blog is about orthodox Catholicism. I hold that there is only one type of Catholic: a Catholic in willing, faithful obedience to the Magisterium of Holy Mother Church and always striving for Christian perfection in a life of charity linked in union with the Holy Trinity through Christ, as taught by our Lord as the only path open to our eternal salvation. To do anything other than this, by the Word of God Himself, makes one not a Catholic no matter how loudly he might proclaim otherwise.
I am a “cradle” Catholic, however I suffered from the lack of solid Catechesis in the “anything but tradition” era of the 1970s and 1980s. Consequently, I did not have much attachment to the faith — despite attending “Catholic” school from third grade through university. Marriage and starting a family led me back to the Church and an eventual “rediscovery” of solid, orthodox Catholicism.
As for my background, I hold a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, a master’s degree in history, a master’s degree in theology, and am completing a master’s degree in philosophy. I currently research and write on a variety of subjects with an emphasis on history and theology.
Comments, questions, and suggestions are welcome. However, this is not a debate site, nor a platform for others to spread anti-Catholic messages. Therefore comments in opposition to Catholic faith and morals will be ignored.
Thank you for visiting and God bless you!
